Last year at Christmas, it took me 3 days to put up my Christmas tree because the Fibromyalgia pain was so bad. It was also during that time that I had the reaction to anesthesia from surgery and a flare up with Lupus. In addition, I was having a lot of pain because I needed a 2nd knee replacement.

My Own Fibromyalgia Treatment: A Day for Jammies
Yesterday I needed a “jammies day”. It took me a long time to realize I could actually have a ‘do nothing day’ and not feel guilty about ignoring my daily ‘to do list’. It seems it always gets longer no matter how many I scratch off the list. On Wednesday I had a fibromyalgia treatment at my podiatrist’s office (Dr. Groshell) and just needed to rest and let things calm down.
IT WORKED!
I feel better today, so I’m focusing on my fibromyalgia blog.
Popular Fibromyalgia Painkiller, Darvocet, Now Banned?!
For those of you who may or may not know, Darvocet includes propoxyphene and acetaminophen, the second might sound familiar…it’s the main ingredient in Tylenol and other mild pain relievers. Propoxyphene is a pain killer that dates back to the 50’s, and any drug including the ingredient is being pulled by the FDA due to “heart side-effects.”
